Whom Does the Bible Testify About? Christ Ahnsahnghong

Two days ago I invited a friend to study the Bible with me at the Church of God World Mission Society. Even though I insisted, he refused to come saying the he believes in God and prays to Jesus so he doesn’t need to study the Bible. In hopes he would change his mind, I showed him why it’s so important to study the Bible. Actually the Bible is a guide for our salvation, it guides us to the Savior.

John 5:39- “diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.”

At this time, Jesus was speaking to the teachers and experts of the Law. He spoke to the Pharisees and Sadducees because they memorized the Scriptures front to back. Just to be clear, at this time the Jewish people only had the Old Testament, the 39 books from Genesis to Malachi.

So Jesus stated that these experts in the Law study all of the Old Testament but refuse to come to the one whom it testifies. Let’s confirm that the Old Testament testifies about Jesus.

Luke 24:13- “Now that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem. They were talking with each other about everything that had happened. As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them; but they were kept from recognizing him.
He asked them, "What are you discussing together as you walk along?" They stood still, their faces downcast. One of them, named Cleopas, asked him, "Are you only a visitor to Jerusalem and do not know the things that have happened there in these days?"
"What things?" he asked. "About Jesus of Nazareth," they replied. "He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. The chief priests and our rulers handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him; but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all this took place.

In this verse, two of Jesus’ disciples were walking away from Jerusalem and Jesus appeared but he didn’t let them recognize him. He asked them what had happened in Jerusalem in order to test them.

When they answered, they said Jesus was a prophet but we know very well Jesus is God Almighty. How could they say he was just a prophet? Also, they said we HAD hoped that he was the Redeemer, meaning they no longer had any hope or faith in him. This was only three days after he was crucified. Even though Jesus spent three years with them teaching them all the truth and showing them miracles, they lost all faith in only three days, let’s see why.

Luke 24:25- “He said to them, "How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?" And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.”

Clearly Bible testified about the Savior because Jesus used it to testify about himself. In the following post we will see also how the Apostles testified the Savior. I give all thanks to our Heavenly Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother for giving us understanding of their words.

The Bible testifies about Christ Ahnsahnghong. So How can we deny that Christ Ahnsahnghong is God?
In this age, only those who believe the Bible will recognize that the Bible testifies about Christ Ahnsahnghong.
Let's believe Christ Ahnsahnghong our savior whom the Bible prophesies and testifies about.
Then we will have eternal life and be saved.
